Touch (New Utopia Abstract Artwork from Gaya)

Touch

Touch is a new utopia abstract artwork created by Gaya.

It all begins and ends with you… the lull of waves and calm of sleeping ocean in a slow flow somewhere far away to meet and breathe the skyline: through the textured air permeated with sunlight emotions and like a fairy tale of an unquestionable love.

Artistic Concept

Creation through the abstract art is the sublime freedom to express oneself. To be an artist means to Gaya to gain that ultimate and sought-after freedom. With the power of colour, she tries to capture the beauty of landscapes, light refractions, mysterious fluctuations of water, texture of flowers, and deviational patterns of a moving form.

Touch is representative of Gaya’s art philosophy. The common theme of her creation is artist’s abstractive reflection on, and interpretation of, the natural world and phenomena, emotional states as well as socio-philosophical reflections on our lives as fragmented as wholesome they are. The paintings include natural environments and objects, single elements of natural phenomena and geographical ambiance, panoramic view, and wildlife. This work conveys Gaya’s admiration with nature and her emotional perceptions of human interrelations with nature. Strong elements of sensual expressionism are also present in this specific work with seemingly seascape background and universal substance of life and its forms.

However, Touch is not about nature. First and foremost. this work embraces love, fondness and tenderness, the mystery of emotions. The Touch… the Touch of feelings, the Touch of horizon, the Touch of ocean subliming into the air far far away… The Touch of the Universal. The painting reflects and, at the same time, denies the absurdist realities of life and surrounding world through the lens of our aspirations for a better world, emotional strength and resurgence. The philosophical subtext of the artwork relates to the concept of infinite and limitless essence of our internal spirituality. The Touch is a symbol of peace and quietude, tenderness, lucidity and endless love.
