Premio Montecosaro Art Critiques Special Prize
I am proud to share that my painting City Mix in Neons was awarded the Art Critiques Special Prize during the Montecosaro Premio International Art Exhibition.
The inauguration of the exhibition was on Sunday, 25 June 2017 at Logge Theater of the City of Montecosaro in Italy. The art exhibition was open to the visitors through June and July and the award ceremony took place on Saturday, 15 July 2017 with the presence of authorities and guests.

My two abstract paintings, City Mix in Neons and Echoes, exhibited in this exciting show. I would like to express my gratitude to the event organizers, cultural association Verum Arte e Cultura with curatorial leadership by Mauro Giampieri and Marianna Jurcova, in partnership with the City of Montecosaro, the prominent art critiques and jury members who made this international exhibition and award happen.
City Mix in Neons
Verum Arte e Cultura is a non-profit centre of art and culture aimed at the enhancement of every type and form of contemporary art by organizing events, exhibitions, awards, conferences, meetings. The motto of the centre is “Guardare con la mente” which can be translated as “See with the Mind.”
Gaya is an award-winning international contemporary abstract artist from Toronto. A recipient of numerous art awards and an author of several art publications, Gaya exhibits in Americas, Europe and Asia. Her abstract paintings are proudly held in a number of private collections.
