Creation through the abstract art is the sublime freedom to express oneself. To be an artist means to Gaya to gain that ultimate and sought-after freedom. With the power of colour, she tries to capture the beauty of landscapes, light refractions, mysterious fluctuations of water, texture of flowers, and deviational patterns of a moving form.
Infinity is representative of Gaya’s art philosophy. The common theme of her creation is artist’s abstractive reflection on, and interpretation of, the natural world and phenomena, emotional states as well as socio-philosophical reflections on our lives as fragmented as wholesome they are. The paintings include natural environments and objects, single elements of natural phenomena and geographical ambiance, panoramic view, and wildlife. This work conveys Gaya’s admiration with nature and her emotional perceptions of human interrelations with nature. Strong elements of sensual expressionism are also present in this specific environmental work with seascape background and universal substance of life and its forms. However, Infinity is not only about nature. This work does not only convey Gaya’s admiration with nature but it also embraces the realities of life and surrounding world through the lens of our aspirations towards freedom and socially absurdist perceptions of human interrelations with nature and emotional strength and resurgence. The philosophical subtext of the artwork relates to the concept of infinite and endless mostly from the space perspective. The Ocean is a portal, a conduit to the Infinity.
