Premio Ligures International Art Exhibition – Great news for my Art Lovers!

I am glad to share that I will be participating with two of my artworks, City Mix in Neons and Echoes, in the Ligures Prize International Art Exhibition in a beautiful city of Lerici in Italian Riviera. The exhibition opens on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Halls Exhibition of the 12th century famous Saint George Castle in Lerici and is available for visitors for more than two weeks. The Award Ceremony takes place in the Castle on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at 11:00 am, before the city authorities and numerous guests.

The event is organized by cultural association Verum Arte e Cultura with curatorial leadership by Mauro Giampieri. The overall event is supported and sponsored by the city council of Lerici.

About City of Lerici

Lerici is a town and commune in the province of La Spezia in Liguria (northern Italy), part of the Italian Riviera. It is situated on the coast of the Gulf of La Spezia, 8 km southeast of La Spezia. One of the main sights of Lerici is its castle which since its first founding in 1152 was used to help control the entrance of the Gulf of La Spezia. Today the castle contains a museum of paleontology.

 

About Artist

Gaya is an award-winning international contemporary abstract artist from Toronto. A recipient of numerous art awards and an author of several art publications, Gaya exhibits in Americas, Europe and Asia. Her abstract paintings are proudly held in a number of private collections.
