The Power of Art Exhibition in Milan
Great news for my Art Lovers: Presenting my two abstract painting in the Power of Art Exhibition in Milan!
I am glad to share that my abstract artworks Murano Secrets and Terra Incognita will exhibit during the Power of Art Exhibition in Milan. The art event is curated by art historian and critic Francesca Callipari
and takes place from April 27 to May 4, 2023 in the Spazio Arte Tolomeo venue of Milan.
The exhibition art concept is best presented by curator Francesca Callipari herself:
“The Art, through the work that follows from the creative act of an artist represents a possible dimension, a symbolic reality that placed before the individuals of a society allows them to adhere to a collective experience of co-construction of the work itself. It is as if the artistic object really acquires meaning only when the observer is able to acquire an intellectual and emotional awareness; when that silent dialogue between work and observer is established, capable of generating deep emotions and reflections.
Since ancient times, it is enough to think of ancient Greece, art was attributed extraordinary philosophical and esoteric abilities, as well as a leading role in politics, religion and morality. Today it is considered, without doubt, one of the highest distinctive activities of the human race that has marked our history. However, we often lose the sense of all this… in a society that now becomes increasingly cynical, where humanity is still plagued by violence and oppression, one wonders what is the function of art and whether it can still have that role that was entrusted to it in past times. The answer is revealed in the meeting with the bystander… art becomes food for the soul, a precious element that acts on the palette of emotions, mitigating the fears and contradictions of the human being, inviting him to contemplation and meditation. Art thus activates our senses, touching that deeper “I”, inducing us to understand ourselves and the reality that surrounds us or acting as an inspiration for the search for new paths of knowledge and experience.”
