International Prize Leonardo da Vinci 2023 Awardee
I am proud and happy to share that I have been awarded with the International Prize Leonardo da Vinci 2023. This prestigious annual prize is awarded to artists based on their professional artistic merits. The inauguration takes place on April 5, 2023 at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan. The museum is the largest technical-scientific museum in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. The awards ceremony is held in the heart of Milan, in the presence of collectors, journalists, politicians and art lovers. The awardees will get as a conferment of the International Prize Leonardo da Vinci a precious customized Leonardo’ sculpted trophy handmade by skilled Florentine artisans, as well as the official prize catalogue.
The prize and the event are organized and curated by the Fondazione Effetto Arte as well as the famous Italian art critics and consultants Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo. Huge thank you to them! During the eventful ceremony, there will be a presentation of the book by Francesco Saverio Russo “A Mystery Called Gioconda” with personalized dedication to participants.
Importantly, a special “Contemporary Celebrity Masters” Vol. II art publication will include the artworks of the prize-winning artists together with an article on the history and life of Leonardo da Vinci.

Gaya is an award-winning international contemporary abstract artist from Toronto. A recipient of numerous art awards and an author of several art publications, Gaya exhibits in Americas, Europe and Asia. Her abstract paintings are proudly held in a number of private collections.
