Canvas Unbound 2017 Exhibition in Vancouver
I am glad to share that my artwork Otherness is selected for an annual juried exhibition Canvas Unbound held by the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). The exhibition will take place in Vancouver from February 14 to 26, 2017.
Canvas Unbound releases art from the canvas and extends it out to the real world! The notion of this exhibition is to prove that and demonstrate that for certain works a frame limits visual perception of the substance and form of the artwork which continues beyond the boundaries of a frame and gets absolved into an ambiance of the real things surrounding the painting. The exhibition is juried by a distinguished member panel of FCA: Jutta Kaiser, SFCA, Patricia Peacock, SFCA, and Gale More, AFCA.
I invite you to visit the exhibition and enjoy the beautiful works of art by contemporary Canadian artists, the members of our association. The gallery is located at 1241 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC.
Enjoy art and have a great summer time on Granville Island!

The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) was founded in 1941 by a group of Canadian artists, including the Group of Seven luminary, Lawren Harris. The FCA continues to operate as a registered not for profit society with members throughout the world and Chapters in Western Canada. The FCA is dedicated to raising artistic standards by stimulating participants to greater heights of knowledge and achievement by offering what is believed to be the first completely artists sponsored gallery in Canada. The Federation Gallery is located on Granville Island, Vancouver, BC, featuring juried exhibitions as well as international shows held annually. The FCA also holds special collaborative shows with other art societies. Hosting an extensive education program that is open to all artists, the FCA also provides workshops, classes, critiques and lectures in the fine arts media, with instruction by successful established artists who can help all artists to explore and develop their artistic interest and talent.
