ArtAscent Bliss Theme Distinguished Artist – Great news for my Art Lovers!

I am glad to share that I am featured as a Distinguished Artist in the April 2017 Bliss Edition of ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal with my work Chains of Venus.

Each issue of the journal adventures into a new theme, with the intent to showcase diverse creative explorations of that theme. This twenty-fourth, 102-page issue explores the theme “Bliss” via happy and soulful paintings, sculpture, photography, mixed media, poems and stories and more by international, emerging and indie artists and writers. If you love art – both visual and written – you’ll love ArtAscent.

I would like to thank the jury for this wonderful selection of outstanding artists and writers. On a special note, I want to mention talented and creative writer Gina Hursky-Moser whose distinguished poem Life Nights Singing is included in the issue on the page beside my painting (pages 68-69). Thank you Gina for your extraordinary lyrical creation that profoundly speaks to the distinct symbolism of the painting.

“An inherent quality of the human experience is the quest for happiness. Once we find it, we strive to keep it with us, never wanting to let it go; we cling to it as if it is a golden treasure, something we’ll cherish as a source of positivity for the inevitable rainy days of negativity in the future. Because of this, we chose to focus our 24th volume of ArtAscent Art & Literature Journal on the theme of bliss.”
